Agents of MAGIC – Hogwarts Year 6: Ink and Rails 1.27

Laun year 6 avie“Look you two,” Shelley said almost begrudgingly to Laun and Damien as the trio walked down to the quidditch pitch, her broom swung over her shoulder, “I have a real chance to turn this team around this year.”

Both the sixth year Slytherin boys looked at each other and then burst into laughter.

“Some friends you two gits are,” Shelley grumbled.

“I’m sorry Shell,” Damien sidled up next to the Slytherin Captain and threw his arm around her, “That’s why I’m trying out.”

“You’re doing what now?” Shelley had a look of shock on her face.

“He-said-he-was-trying-out,” Laun said loudly as though he were talking to a deaf person.

“I heard him, thank you Laun,” Shelley grumbled as they edged ever closer to the pitch...

Rose year 6 avie1In the days since Céilidh had blown up on him on Dumbledore’s staircase, Tom’s mood had taken a turn for the worse. Céilidh was still giving him the cold shoulder and had barely spoken to him over the last couple of days. As the bell rang signaling the end of Transfigurations, Tommy collected his things and then looked towards Céilidh to find that she had already left. Tom gave a heavy sigh, then began his own trudge out of the classroom.

He’d barely taken three steps when a tiny arm worked its way around his, nearly causing him to drop his books. Ambrosia smiled gently at him, not saying a word but firmly steering him away from the classroom and out toward the open lawns near the front of the castle.

“Hi Rose,” Tommy said half heartedly as they walked along the lawn.

“Oh you can do ...

Hogwarts-CrestForster Barclay tugged on his robes, smoothing them out as he walked through the medical wing. Approaching the one other person in the room, he spoke up. “How’s my first official patient?”

Forster’s first official patient was looking anything but well. Propped up by a pillow, Kat glared at the Hufflepuff with as much anger as she could muster. “Oh I’m just great. Fabulous, even. Of course I’d be even better if I could actually get some peace and quiet.” She looked around for something to throw at him. But, of course, there was nothing. No cards or flowers or anything that would suggest that her schoolmates missed her presence.

Forster looked around the room, given that it was the start of the school year, the beds were still unoccupied, and with the exception of Kat, most people who came i...

Tommy year 6 avie1Tom gave a large yawn as he walked into the Great Hall. Tom was usually a morning person, but the first week of school was always challenging, even more so with Céilidh’s cold shoulder. As he scanned the hall, he made a mental note of Oliver Wood waving like a mad man at him to come over and sit next to him so he veered toward the Ravenclaw table instead and threw himself on the bench next to Rose and Danny, “Morning,” he gave a weak smile.

Pausing in mid bite, Rose set her donut down and reached out to smooth Tommy’s hair away from his face. After the disaster following their first Defense Against the Dark Arts class, she’d been worried about him. Not that breakfast in a crowded room was exactly a great place to talk about things...

Rose year 6 avie1Curled up a midst the pink and lavender pillows from both girls’ beds, Nicolette and Ambrosia flipped through a whole summer’s worth of catalogs that had been waiting for the wayward Ravenclaw once she had arrived back at school. Turning the book around to face the little blonde, Nic tapped a picture of a girl wearing a long white scarf that looped around her neck several times, ending in soft knit tassels. “This?”

“Ooo…” Her green eyes lit up as she looked it over. “But it’s white,” she said, finally finding the flaw. “It needs something… more…” Tapping her feet against the velvet pillows that lined the end of her bed, she flipped through a few more pages while she thought about it. “Maybe I’d like these things more if the models weren’t so freakishly overdeveloped...

Hogwarts-Crest“Good Afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen,” the former auror that was now the Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor said as he walked through the door that led to his office and slowly walked down the staircase toward them, “Dark Arts,” He paused as his eyes seemed to rest on each and every student “Do any of you believe you can define what the term Dark Arts means?”

Almost immediately a wildly waving hand shot into the air, it was attached to a far too excited Laun Orris-Whitmoor.

The Professor nodded towards Laun.

“The ‘Dark Arts’ refers to any magic that is regularly made use of or originated by Dark Wizards, magic that is dangerous to not only the victim of the spell but the caster, as well as magic that is forbidden by wizarding law...

Orlando year 6 avie1“So,” Shelley slid onto the bench right next to Damien, “Any idea what the bloody heck happened to the furniture in the common room?”

Damien shook his head, “Nope,” he took a bite from his breakfast, “I thought I heard something last night, and then saw Petey over there,” he jabbed his finger in the direction of Peter Porsblat. Peter’s face was a mask of anger as he sat fuming into his morning coffee. “Said that he went down about midnight after hearing something and everything was still there.”

“Marrion said she smelled alcohol this morning.”

Damien laughed, “You don’t think it was drunk house elves do you?”

Shelley snorted with laughter, “I think you have been around Laun far too long.”

“You two think this is funny don’t you,” an older Slytherin boy growled, “This is an embarrassment and...
