Agents of MAGIC – Hogwarts Year 6: Ink and Rails 1.6

Hogwarts-CrestForster adjusted his belt, for what felt to be the fiftieth time. He patted his side to make sure his wand was still in place as he took an extra large step to take a slight lead on Samantha.

“Fors, it’s the Hogwarts Express.”

Forster halted his step and tried to clear his throat, “I know, it’s just after last year…” He left the thought hanging as he tried to find the exact words. He shrugged his shoulders and continued. “It’s hard to know what to expect. A first year losing his pet, some foolish third year smuggling their home Quidditch set aboard and one of the bludgers busting loose, or someone quaffing polyjuice in order to smear the reputation of a classmate. I’m hoping for the former, but a repeat of last year wouldn’t surprise me either.”

“I just hope this year doesn’t end like last...

Hogwarts-CrestTirelessly turning in his seat Bobby Britto was having the utmost difficulty and after about five more minutes of restlessly moving about trying to get comfortable, which felt impossible, he got up. His hands quickly opened the doors and blue eyes scanned the cart looking for a familiar face to turn to. Rose was the first thought that came to mind, but she was on the Prefect cart and Non-Prefects couldn’t just barge in… Or at least that’s what Bobby thought. Shaking his head outwardly at his inward plans the next thoughts went to Tommy which met a similar disapproval by himself. Tommy was probably knee deep in other students yanking him aside for various conversation...

Orlando year 6 avie1Orlando sat stretched out over the length of the bench, feet up up on the cushions and tucked back into the corner. He’d taken his robes and bunched them up into pillowesque ball and pinned it behind his head. It only took a few moments of wriggling to find a nice comfy position, despite the somewhat cramped compartment seating. Still, if you could fall asleep in class at Hogwarts, you could probably fall asleep just about anywhere.

And falling asleep would have been lovely. His lids certainly felt heavy. He just might have if a certain ferret hadn’t kept crawling up his chest and over his face to perch on his head and look out the window. Wolfwood always did like the train ride. All those sights and sounds. So did Orlando, but for now he was tired...

Céilidh year 6 avie1The Hogwarts Express click-clacked it’s way along the tracks, gently rocking as it steamed its way over the verdant countryside. The Prefect’s car was as animated as any other on the train, with everyone renewing acquaintances, catching up from the summer break, and wondering how this new year would stack up to those that had come before.

Though she was fairly positive that an uneventful patrol through the train probably meant good things for the upcoming year, Rose couldn’t help to eye the Prefect’s car with a faint sense of depression. Everything was so… unchanged. And though she knew she was alone in it, and that she probably shouldn’t, she couldn’t help but miss Eric. Or at least her memory of him.

As the laughter from within spilled out over the doorway, the little blonde caught hers...

Nicolette year 6 avie1Surelle’s tightened fingers wrinkled the uncharacteristic T-shirt Nicolette was wearing as the tall raven haired woman drug her daughter by the arm through King’s Cross. Though the station was loud, the click of her heels seemed to echo above the rest of the noise. The woman in the black tailored pantsuit hadn’t been there in over twenty years but anyone could tell that she was Nic’s mother. The only difference in the two womens’ faces was the anger in the older woman’s features and the humiliation in the younger’s.

Behind the two women was another intimidating figure pushing a cart loaded with trunks. The man pushing the trolley had perfectly groomed brown hair and closely resembled the graduated Guilliume, Nicolette’s brother...

Tommy year 6 avie1Another September First had rolled around and King’s Cross Station was packed with Wizards and Witches all taking their children to Platform nine and three quarters and the Hogwarts Express. This was no different for the Llewelyns. Cecelia Llewelyn was pushing her own trunk down the to the platform with her mother right next to her, both of them happily chatting about this year’s activities and what Cecelia was looking forward too. A pace or two behind, Tom was pushing his own cart, with his father right next to him.

As the two Llewelyn men walked together toward the platform, Giles Llewelyn couldn’t help but notice how much his youngest son had grown over the summer. He was now nearly as tall as he was himself. Giles couldn’t help but give a sad smile...
